Biplanes falling from the sky!

Over the weekend, a vintage 1930s Habilland Tiger Moth biplane crashed into a forest canopy in East Windsor, CT. No one was injured, but the pictures from the news were pretty amazing. You just don't things like this everyday: 

I got this photo off of MSNBC of all places.

The images of the plane being extracted from the trees were just as cool, but I couldn't find anything online. Because the ground below was swampy and unstable, a special airlift-style helicopter had to be used to gently lift the craft and safely return it to the ground.
